Tires are the most important yet neglected part of vehicle maintenance and they shouldn't be. They are the only contact between your car and the road, and they play an essential role in you maintaining control in different weather conditions and keeping you and your family safe while driving.

At Kia Vancouver, we offer all the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) brands you trust, including Hankook, Yokohama, Cooper, Continental, BF Goodrich, Toyo, Pirelli, Kumho, Michelin, Dunlop and others. Our tires are very competitively priced, and installed by factory trained technicians. If for some reason we don't have the tires you need in stock, we have access to all major tire manufacturer warehouses, so we can get the tires you need generally the same day.

Besides offering the right tire, when you need it, and a very competitive price, we also offer spin balancing as part of our professional installation. When you're here for that new set of tires make sure have your wheel alignment checked, (all 4 wheels) this will ensure that your new set of tires lasts for the maximum mileage they were rated for.

What are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Tires?

OEM tires are the ones that were delivered with your car from the factory ? in other words, your car was specifically designed with these tires in mind. The correct size, width, air pressure, braking, acceleration, cornering and specific handling characteristics of your vehicle are all dependent on your tires. That's why it's important to replace them with tires that are suited to your vehicle. When the time comes, we usually have them in stock or can get them the same day.

Every time you visit Kia Vancouver, we will inspect your tires for wear, and if necessary, we will give you an estimate of what your vehicle requires for proper tire fit. When making decisions about your tire purchase, remember that you should only install the proper rated tire (refer to your owner's manual) for your vehicle so that it will handle the way it was intended to.

When our trained technicians look at your tires, they can also determine if your wheels are aligned, if your wheels are out of alignment, this will cause premature tire wear, we will report that to you as well and we will make recommendations to remedy your situation.
